Emma & Tom
The Gardens at Yalding
Emma & Tom got married at the Gardens in Yalding during the late summer. I started my day in Tunbridge Wells with Emma & her bridesmaides at a beautiful victorian AirBnb which Emma had rented. I spent a couple of hours taking shots of the girls getting ready and just as I was leaving I captured some lovely shots of Emma’s Dad seeing in her dress for the first time. I then left to drive the half hour on to the stunning Gardens at Yalding wedding venue where Tom and his brother (& best man) were waiting at the alter under the wooden gazebo. The gardens around the ceremony area are surrounded by lush flowers & tree’s which made for a stunning backdrop. Once the guests were seated Emma walked down the aisle with her father whilst everyone looked on and the ceremony begun. The Gardens are a joy to photograph as the venue provides an amazing panoramic view of the whole of the ceremony area. After the ceremony had finished the newlyweds walked back down the aisle to a sea of confetti and the celebratory drinks & live music soon followed. After I had polished off the group shots everyone headed into the Tipi for the wedding breakfast. As the late summer sun was setting at around 7pm I grabbed Emma & Tom and we headed off for a relaxed walk around the gardens to take some natural shots of them together. After this we headed back to the Tipi for the beginning of the speeches. To finish the evening we then headed back inside for the first dance and cake cut and a good old rave up to some classic 80s & 90s tracks. Check out below some highlights of some of my favourite shots from the day.
